Weekly Letter

>Hey kiddos<

The more time someone has in the mission, less people write you...haha. Anyways, this week was good. It went by really fast. We had interviews with Presidente and Hermana Vásquez and those were really good. We worked hard in the area, and juela, I can't lie, this has by far been my hardest area. It's tough and a lot of people tell us no, but there are some things that we can't control. We just keep on working hard and trying to find the people that the Lord has prepared for us to teach.

Hna Alma is doing good. She hasn't drank coffee in 1 week. We took her to a ward baptism so she could see how they are and she really liked it. The RS president invited Hna Alma to an activity on Saturday and she went and made some friends and said it went really well. She didn't go to church because she was feeling sick..so that was a bummer.

Other than that, it's been hard to find new people here to teach. We're still working hard and trying to talk with as many people as we can.

It's been a little cooler here and cloudy. It rained on Saturday and for the first time in 16 months I felt cold again. It was such a weird feeling. Anyways, everything here is good and we're working hard. Tomorrow we're gonna go to La Unión to see what's up there so I'm excited to return there. All is well here and I hope it's all good where you all are also. I love you all and have a fantastic week. Saluuu Pues!

May 22nd, 2017 - Weekly Letter

Hi

Hey everyone. This week was good. It was kinda hard, but super good.

We worked super hard finding new investigators and trying to put baptismal dates with them, but not a lot accepted. This area is a little tough, but we're giving it all we've got. We have more confidence with the members and they've given us a few referencias. The funny thing is that the members that gave us references aren't from our ward, but it's all good jaja.

We're pretty healthy..I guess. My retainer broke so today I had to go to the orthodontist and fix it...also my foot started to bleed and won't stop haha.

Hermana Alma is doing good. She's reading the Book of Mormon and she's working on her prayers. Her difficulty is coffee and she's working on that.

Hermana Ali is reading as well. We were gonna put a baptismal date yesterday with her, but her ex husband showed up drunk and we couldn't invite her. But she's good.

We also found a guy named Felipe and he's awesome. We taught the restoration and he wanted to learn more about Joseph Smith so we left a pamphlet of the testimony of Joseph Smith. When we returned for the next lesson, he had read the pamphlet and marked parts he liked and marked questions he had. His only problem is that he works on Sundays. But we'll help him there.

All here is going well. We're healthy and happy.

Happy late birthday to Emma and Kaylon this past week.

Anyways I love you all and wish you all a fantastic week. We'll talk to you all soon!

Saluuu Pues!

Con Amor, Elder Loveless

Hey Everyone!!

Hey family and friends!! How is everyone? Here we're good.

The skype call yesterday was great. It's probably going to be the last call that I make in the mission...how crazy! I feel like the time just goes by so fast. But we're happy here in San Miguel.

So this past week we worked super hard meeting the members and finding a ton of new investigators. This area is a little tough because all of the people enter their houses at 7 PM and some at 6:30 and there aren't people in the streets and they don't want to talk jaja. So we just have to set appointments at those hours and contact earlier.

We found a bunch of good people and we had 3 investigators at church and brought a family of less actives of 7 to church. We're having success slowly but surely. We just need a little bit of patience.

This ward is great. They're starting to give us dinners and they are really supportive in church.

My companion is great. We're working hard and we're almost always exhausted, but we're happy and seeing results. We're working with an Hermana named Alma and she went to church. She's praying and she's working on the reading part. We're happy and good and healthy.

I love you all and I hope I get my camera soon to start taking pictures again. Thanks!!

Saluuu

Oiii Niños

Hey everyone. I don't have a whole lot of time, so sorry if I couldn't write you personally. I still don't have a camera so sorry I couldn't send pics. Well this past week was so crazy!

Well 2 weeks ago we had p-day with Presidente again and we went to El Boquerón. It was super cool. He also took us to eat at a fancy Chinese restaurant. That was cool.

We had a miracle. Alexis was baptized on Saturday the 29 de Abril. We were all super excited. I don't have pics, but another missionary is gonna send me the pics.

Monday of this last week, we planned the changes all day, went to the airport to pick up an elder then went to buy Taco Bell for Presidente and Hermana Vásquez and then ate it in their house. Tuesday we received the new missionaries, Wednesday we had changes and we basically said goodbye to all our converts and then on Thursday we had leadership council. That was good.

Well I had changes...and Elder Eve too. Elder Eve went to Las Cañas Ilopango to be with the new AP from centro and I went with Elder Hernandez to La Pacifica II, San Miguel to open an area and to be AP's in Oriente. So there are 4 APs again.

Friday we moved into the house and we started exploring. We met the bishop and the members that live by us. It's hard opening an area, but it's not impossible. It's hot here...but I like this area. It's HUGEEEE. Elder Hernandez is from Guatemala and is super cool. We live in a super big house with A/C. That's a huge blessing. I'm happy to be here and we're still gonna keep working hard.

All is good and I'm happy to be here. I'm also super exhausted, but it's all good haha. I'm glad to hear you all are doing so good over there in your cool places. I'm always happy to hear from you all.

Mamá, we have 45 minutes on Sunday to skype and we will we doing it  at 5 PM our time. So I think that'd be 4 your time. You'll need to check the time difference because I kinda forgot what time it is there jaja. Anyways, all is well, we're still alive and APs and tired, but super good and with ganas to find the escogidos of the Lord and baptize in La Pacifica II! I love you all and thanks for your support.

JALUUUUUUU PUEJJJ!!!!!
