Hasta La Vista Bebé

Hey everyone! FELIZ NAVIDAD!!! It was so good to see everyone yesterday.

I don't have a whole ton to say because I basically said it all yesterday, but I feel happy. I feel like I'm very satisfied with the mission that I gave to the Lord. It's been hard that's for sure, but very rewarding and I've learned a ton. Thanks for all of your love and support.

I know this gospel is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I love this Gospel and I'm so glad  I could be a missionary and I'll definitely miss being a missionary, but I have to finish strong these last days that I have here.

I love you all and wish you all a Merry Christmas from Apopa!

Viva Apopa!

Hey everyone!

I hope you are all well and feeling the Christmas spirit this Christmas season.

I don't have much to say because the week was kinda normal jaja. One thing's for sure, opening areas is dang hard- You usually don't see a lot of results for a a few weeks. We've been busy contacting a bunch of new people and trying to train my son so he can be fairly self reliant since I leave 2 weeks before the change ends. He's doing good and me too. But I'm kinda sad that my mission is coming to an end. It went by so fast. And this week there won't be a whole ton of time to work due to all of the Christmas activities from the mission and from the ward, but I made a promise to finish strong and not have regrets, so I'm gonna work hard until my last day.

I hope you all are doing good and just know that I have a strong testimony of this church and of missionary work and I'm so glad I made the decision to come on a mission.

I love you all and I wish you all a great day and week!

Saluuu Pues

Arriba Abajo (Up and Down)

Hey everyone! It's good to read everyone's emails and to know that everyone is doing good.

Everything in Apopa is going great. I'm still getting used to some things, but I really like it here,

On Thursday we had interviews with Presidente Durán and after, I did interchanges with Elder Hernandez from Mexico. It was a great interchange. Then on Saturday we had an activity in Sta Lucia Ilopango and Elder Butler also had to have a surgery so I stayed with Elder Orozco and Elder Dorny went with Elder Butler to the hospital. Elder Orozco and I had a blast and maybe we didn't go to bed until 3 am 😁.  On Sunday Elder Orozco woke up throwing up and so we got to church late (here we have church at 7 am!) . Elder Butler got back with my compa at about 3 PM. It was an eventful week!

Anyways, we're all good and hard like always jaja (;

I love you all and wish you all the best week!

Best and Worst of the Past Week:
Best-We forced interchanges with Elder Orozco!
Worst- We didn't have a ton of time to work in our area.

Last change...in Apopa!

Hey everyone! I hope you are all good!

Well this week has probably been one of the craziest weeks of my life. I received my new companion on Wednesday. His name is Elder Dorny from Mapleton Utah. He's a good kid. He reminds me of Elder Palmer because he's super tall and kind of shy jajaja. But he's awesome.

We are opening the area of Apopa 2 where Elder Palmer started and finished his mission so everyone thinks that's super cool when they find out he trained me. (You're famous Elder Palmer!)  It's super hard opening an area. A lot of contacting. But that's fun. We'll see how it goes. Also Elder Butler (my other son) and Elder Orozco are my Zone Leaders and are in our ward so it's a party always. jaja. This week was a good one. We contacted a lot of people and we also went and decorated less actives' houses for the Christmas campaign Light the World. That was fun. Yesterday we also watched the Christmas devotional which I really enjoyed.

You'll all have to forgive me..there was a pequeño percance (small mishap) and I won't be able to send pics...until I'm home..😁

But we're all good here.

I Love you all and wish you guys a great week!

Con amor, Elder Loveless

Last change!

Hey everyone! This week was a great one.

Well I don't have a whole lot to say jaja...

On Thursday I got a very unexpected phone call...It looks like I'm gonna train again!!!! My last 4 weeks in the mission will be spent training a new missionary...and I got another call that they're gonna take me and my comp out of Colonial which means that I'm gonna open a new area! I'm super excited. I was not expecting that at all.

Well, Hermana Vilma went to church again yesterday which was great.

We also went house shopping...I'm basically a pro at house searching. When I got my mission call, I never thought I'd have to marry people, drive in a foreign country, go house shopping or hang off of a bus because there wasn't room inside...

I'm sad to leave this area. I almost did 7 months here...the members are great. Also tonight we're gonna pack and tomorrow we're gonna move houses.

Yesterday we had a belated thanksgiving dinner with the Familia Contreras.

Yeah..it was a good week. Next week I'll tell you all where I'll be finishing my mission.

I love you all and hope you have a great week. Cuidense mucho hijos. Les amo mucho

Semana chiva !

Hey everyone! This week was a great one, and I took a bunch of pics so I'll send those in just a sec.

Anyways, on Tuesday we were able to go to the temple as a zone and that was great. I love the temple and I really needed that trip.

On Wednesday we had interviews and a zone training from Presidente and the assistants. It's probably my second to last interview with him. Also I got a new temple recommendation because mine expires at the end of November.

Thursday and Friday worked super hard and found some new investigators to start teaching.

On Saturday in the morning, we baptized hermano Martín Mira then we went to the sealing of Hermano and Hermana Henriquez. That was such a good experience and I got to see Presidente and Hermana Vásquez!!! I was so happy. (I´ll send pics of that? and they gave us a ride in their new Hyundai Santa Fe (;

Yesterday my comp was sick so we just left at 6 to go to see the face to face with Elder Oaks and Elder Ballard for the YSA. That helped me to answer a couple of questions that I had. This week was great and super busy. Also next week are changes so I'll soon see where I'm gonna finish my mission.

Anyways, all is well and I love you all. Behave and be awesome in all that you do. Until next week,

Elder Loveless

Todo chivo puej

Hey everyone! I'm glad to hear from you all and to know you are all doing well.

Everything here is great. We're in the 'windy' season now so that's been really nice. It's not too hot and it's not raining.

Carolina didn't go to church to get confirmed so I was kinda mad...but we're gonna figure out why and if there's something we can do to help her...But this week on Saturday at 8 am we're gonna baptize Hermano Martín. He's super excited.

So yesterday in church they asked what thing in missionary work brings you the most joy and I thought about my 2 converts in there that both have the priesthood and temple recommends. It brings a lot of joy to see your converts progress in the Gospel.

I did interchanges on Friday and I went to Santo Tomas. We also had an all you can eat of pupusas and I only had time to eat 7 and bring 4 to the house because there wasn't enough time to finish there.

We're finding a lot of new investigators and working hard to be able to baptize in December. I hope I don't have changes because the members here like me and I want to finish my mission here, to be here for Christmas and all that fun stuff.

But we're doing good and even though I'm more tired than I've been in my entire mission and my life, we're still working hard. Also tomorrow we're gonna go to the temple as a zone and on Saturday after the baptism we're gonna go to the sealing of the first counselor and his wife and I'm gonna see Presidente and Hermana Vasquez!!!

Anyways, I love you all and wish you all a wonderful week!

Saluuu Pues y cuidense mucho!!

Oi

Hey everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

This week was a good one. It wasn't too much different than the others, but it was still good. It's been a little hot but at least it's not raining anymore.

On Saturday Hermana Carolina was baptized and  I had the privilege of baptizing her. That was cool. The problem was that on Sunday morning, she couldn't show up for the confirmation. So until next week, she will not officially be a member.

Hermano Martín passed his interview and will be baptized on the 18 of Nov. Also we have permission to go to the sealing of the 1st counselor of the bishopric and his wife that same day. Presidente Vasquez and Hermana Vasquez will be there and I'm so excited to see them again! Woooo!!!

All is well...Always tired and working hard. I've never been so tired in my entire life.

Anyways, I love you all and wish you all a great week.

Cuidense Mucho!!!
